Subway Ladywood Middleway Broadway Plaza

Welcome to Subway Ladywood Middleway Broadway Plaza, located at 220 Ladywood Middleway, Birmingham, UK B16 8. This bustling sandwich shop promises a variety of customizable subs, salads, and breakfast options, appealing to those on the go. However, as a food reviewer, I've found that this particular branch has elicited mixed reactions from its patrons.

While Subway is known for its fresh ingredients and build-your-own sandwich concept, diners at this location have reported a series of disappointments. For instance, customer reviews suggest issues with food quality and service speed. Laura's experience highlights a squashed and burnt footlong sub that lacked generous portions of toppings. This raises concerns about the attention to detail that one might expect from such a well-known brand.

  • Customer Service: Reports indicate a slower-than-expected service pace, with some waiting longer than necessary as they navigate a busy queue. Tamona Flowers expressed her dissatisfaction with the lack of urgency from the staff, further complicating the dining experience.
  • Food Quality: Multiple reviews, including those from Ashleigh Richards and Casper Ghost, raised alarms about portion sizes and food accuracy. Ashleigh lamented the paltry salad servings, questioning the value for money, while Casper highlighted an instance of receiving half portions of meat.
  • Breakfast Offerings: Moreover, Hayley D1985’s experience suggests that the breakfast items leave much to be desired. A lack of stocked ingredients and poor food execution can result in less-than-stellar mornings.

Despite the apparent shortcomings, it’s important to recognize that every dining experience is subjective and can vary from one visit to another. With the right attention to quality and customer service, Subway Ladywood Middleway Broadway Plaza could indeed revitalize its reputation.

In conclusion, while offering fresh, customizable meals is Subway's hallmark, consistent execution at this branch is vital for customer satisfaction. Whether you’re a local resident or just passing through, I’d recommend considering your options before making the trip. The potential is undoubtedly there, but it may take a little extra effort to reach the standards expected from the well-loved Subway brand.

If I could rate this stars I would. Ordered a Footlong sub with all the salad and meatballs which came to £. On arrival, I opened it to find a squashed, burnt sub with piece of lettuce, pieces of sweetcorn, olives, cucumbers, a piece of pepper, no crispy onions, and the crappiest sprinkle of cheese you’ve ever seen. The meatballs were stone cold. The delivery was prompt and only took mins from ordering to unwrapping so they couldn’t have gone cold in that time. I just can’t believe people can serve this and expect their customers to be happy.I called up the shop as I couldn’t get a refund through UberEats (very difficult process) and a lady answered, listened to my problem then hung up on me. I called back several times, no answer. Eventually leaving it a while and calling back, someone answers. I speak to another lady who says that they always do it properly so next time ask for extra salad! My problem wasn’t the extra salad, it was just having salad in the first place! They then tried to blame UberEats saying it was their fault. I said “but you make the food?” and they replied “yes, but we do it properly so don’t know what’s happened”. They then tried to blame them for the temperature of meatballs saying they must have gone cold during delivery.I’m just amazed that food industries as big as Subway can get away with charging £ for a sandwich and supplying something that’s inedible. I’m appalled at the service and the ignorance towards customers. Working in the industry myself, I wouldn’t dare serve food I wouldn’t want to eat myself and surely wouldn’t speak to customers the way I was spoken to. Avoid at all costs.

The speed of a snail with no sense of urgency serving customers, despite there being a growing queue. Food was disappointing and not worth the wait, and actually felt ill after eating. No hairnets in sight, and the server thought macadamia nuts were just white chocolate chips, which is concerning for those with a nut allergy if they too thought it was white chocolate.

Very sad servings. I always get a salad from subway and I have to say for the price of over £ for a salad and a drink the portion size was appalling at this branch and overpriced. I could count the sweetcorn pieces on one hand and all other items was as if she was grabbing air out of the boxes.Go elsewhere guys, other branches are better or get a gourmet salad for the same price elsewhere.

I can take poor customer service but what I wont accept is your staff not giving me what i pay for, I ordered a footlong sub and was given half a serving of meat, the server was very sneaky and put half portions of meat on my sub, she achieved this by placing her finger in the spoon so when she scooped the meat it looked full but was only half filled, having worked in the industry running fast food stores I know when I'm being scammed. that's not to mention the tomatoes jalapenos on a footlong, by far the worse sub I have ever ordered as it was empty.
